Community Groups are our first and best shot at doing “in” the way Jesus calls us to (see Acts 2.42). They are the primary way we help grow disciples of Jesus outside of gathering for worship on Sundays. We want to see people move from being
…strangers/enemies
…to guests
…to friends
…to family in Christ
…to leaders
Community Groups are …
- A group of Christians sharing their lives together during the week …and living their shared life on mission for the glory of God.
- A group of people doing basic things together each week (bless, eat, listen, learn, share). If you want a sports metaphor – we’re running simple plays, not a complicated offense!
- Open to anyone curious and seeking community! Each group is meant to grow – could be your friend, neighbor, coworker, family member, etc. And though we’ll invite them, they don’t have to worship with us at Trinity Forest.
- Meet at various times during the week (usually evenings)
- Will start each semester as new groups form.
Let us know you are interested!
Signing up doesn’t “commit” you to a group yet – just letting us know your interest and availability. We’ll make specific invitations once we gather the groups!
